Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara is considered the California French Riviera (don't ask me why, I have never been to France) and is only 30 min from Oxnard. Because we missed the boat to the Channel Islands (again!), we decided to spend the day there. The last time we visited Santa Barbara, Jack was still in mommy's tummy!! We got in the city just in time for the Farmer's market so we ate some fruit to give us fuel for all the walking we were going to do.

We walked up and down State Street while Jack was taking his nap and it started drizzing... good thing it was warm rain. We even ate at the same New Orleans restaurant last time, the Pacific Grill with our favorite Gumbo and bread pudding souffle. We also went to Stearns Wharf and took the water taxi to the santa Barbara harbor. And because we walked so much the whole day, we rode the electric shuttle to the parking lot! We love Santa Barbara.
