Thanks to Tita Rosa's classmate, Tita Girlie who works at Marriott hotels, we received a great discount at the Residence Inn in Oxnard. Oxnard is a small beach town in Ventura County famous for their strawberry festival and their beaches. Their beach is so different from Orange County beaches, really smooth sand and had no seaweed!!! It was really cold on the first day we were there (mid 60s) but it warmed up on our last day. We rode the deuce coupe on the waterfront which Ryan and Jack really enjoyed but mom and dad was so tired after. We also had fun at the Ventura Harbor for some yummy dinner and a night of arcade.
