This summer, Ryan joined the UCI Writing Project at Ladera Ranch Elementary School. He had tons of fun learning different styles of writing, meeting new friends and researching about bugs. This year's theme was All Abuzz about bugs and they had to pick a specific bug, research about it, write an essay and a poem. At the end of the session, the teachers compiled all their work into a book and they presented it to the parents during gallery walk. Even with all the stress of driving Ryan to the session, I think we will enroll him next year again :)
