Winter Sawdust Festival 2008

We love going to the Winter Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach. It's less crowded than the summer one plus they have Santa, fake snow and carolers in keeping with the season. They have the balloon artists, magicians, live bands and the different artists there during the summer too. Now, if only they don't put sawdust everywhere so we can stop sneezing while we were there.

We started with Santa right away. We were not sure how Jack is going to react but last year was a fiasco. He was screaming and crying in last year's pictures. This year, there were no tears but maybe a little whining so definitely, an improvement. They kids (with daddy!) sat and talked to Santa and they even got a toy keyboard after.

We walked for a while, checking out the glass makers and the arts and crafts booth. We also listened to the music from the band and the carolers. Ryan waited for the fake snow (which oddly enough look like soap) and this year, they removed the snow play area :(. We just like hanging out at Laguna Beach specially during the off peak seasons. The sawdust festival is only on for 4 weekends after mid November.
