It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Every year, we vow to decorate the tree before December so we get to enjoy them for more than a month. Dad put up the lights outside right after Thanksgiving but we had to postpone decorating the tree because he went up to San Francisco.

This weekend, even with Mom and Jack sick, we finished putting up both trees, the kids' in the family room and the more formal tree in the living room. We had christmas music playing together with Jack screaming from too much excitement. He loved hanging (or throwing) the ornaments on the tree. I don't think you can see it but he likes putting them one on top of each other. He also loved helping mom with the other tree because all the ornaments are gold and silver.

Ryan tried guiding him but Jack decides where he wants the ornaments hung. Ryan loved reminiscing as he hung all the old ornaments he made from preschool and kindergarten. He loves looking at reindeer ornaments made from his 3 yr old handprint or even a penguin from his little preschool feet.

All we need is the garland on the staircase and we're done for the season. Yey!
